Staff were friendly, cheerful and helpful. Everything I needed... comfy bed, modern bathroom, clean, secure, etc. Great location, easy parking. I'll be back.
I much enjoyed lodging at the Half Moon. It was located within easy reach of the train station and the Abbey, being the purpose of my visit. Staff were friendly and attentive, particularly in the morning over breakfast. The room was perfect, with a clear view of the abbey; the bed was very comfortable with pillows aplenty (not a small thing for a relatively short visitor's stay). The restaurant was unique for its large menu. I would lodge there again without hesitation.
Excellent value for money. Lovely, friendly staff. Single room (no3) was absolutely fine - comfortable bed, good linen. Coffee and tea making facilities - fine. Bit of residual noise from downstairs, but that's to be expected in a pub. Good to see it busy, but some of the (male) clientele were pretty disgusting - urinating on the wall of the entrance arch rather than walking into the pub. Breakfast - okay for a continental. Adequate for my needs.

Congratulations to everyone of the team. We stayed at the hotel on a family trip, the rooms are amazing, excellent beds!!! The food at the pub was to dye for, price wise good valued. Definitely a place to go and return. Well done
The staff were so friendly and helpful and the room was spot on. Clean and comfortable, very spacious and warm (which is needed this time of the year!) Great value for money!
We were two couples on a few days cycling holiday in the area We had a great stay....Excellent free parking facilities, good size rooms, and really good continental or cooked breakfasts, bar and restaurant facitlities with sporsts TVs. Staff were the icing on the cake, always very pleasant , friendly and very attentive to our neeeds. They helped us store our four electric bikes safely over night and were able to charge the batteries. We thank you all for a really great stay !
